Advanced Movement Techniques in Marvel Rivals

There’s always something new to learn, and that’s a curse of knowledge that it is never enough. The more you learn about anything, the more you find out that you don’t know enough about anything, and to claim that one has a mastery of a subject is a mere peculiarity of people around him, or he is doing a kind of sweet jaggery to make himself appear more pleasurable. So if you’re wondering that you know it all, then trust me, you are getting affected by the heaviest form of Dunning-Kruger effect.

Because of the J curve of knowledge, you might still think that you know everything, but as time passes on you’ll realize how much you’re missing, and eventually, you’ll learn more and be more educated on the matter of your study. In this blog, we are going to do something really similar because in this blog, we are going to talk about Marvel rivals and movement techniques.

I know what you might be thinking, that I already know all the things about movement in Marvel Rivals. But that’s precisely why i started this blog with that passage because it is a paradox about knowledge now we are not going to go into super details of that because i’ve got to teach you somethings and technique which will elevate your in-game experience by a mile allowing you to beat your opponent not only with your aim but with your movements also.

Note: With the help of these techniques you can easily reach One above all rank as OAA boosters follow these movement techniques to dominate in every Marvel’s match!

Movement techniques:

So there are some movement techniques which you have to know, or you’re going to be at a large disadvantage against your enemies. These movement abilities will allow you to sway away the enemy’s aim, allowing you to run faster, and it will make you more swift, allowing you to move through your objective without much of a hassle.

Strafing:

The first on the list is strafing which is a pretty basic but a fundamental movement which is used across all of the competitive shooting games. So what basically strafing does is that it allows you to maintain your aim at one specific target while moving your whole body which allows you to take shots but it would be harder to target you because you will be moving a lot.

Doing it perfectly is pretty simple but takes a little bit of effort. So what you gonna do is to maintain your aim at a target while moving but try to move your mouse to stay still at the target while moving and as soon as you finish moving right or left press the opposite button to cancel the animation which is also called a counter strafe do this this thing all over again and that is what strafing is all about. Move left while moving your mouse right to make your aim stay stable, and as soon as you finish moving left, press right for a brief second to cancel out the left animation and stop your character from moving.

Jiggle peeking:

Next on the list is jiggle peeking, which is pretty similar to strafing, but its use is highly situational. It is mostly used to bait out enemy shots to get their exact location, or you could also use this to troll your enemies. It is entirely up to you. How do you jiggle peek? Here’s how so what you have to do is to constant press left for one second and then press right for one second and you have to do it constantly until your moves like a jiggling jelly which is why the name is jiggle peek but you have to do it from an angle in which you are covered from one place either on your right or your left. Do not make the mistake of doing jiggles in an open space because you’ll be an easier target, because you wouldn’t have the cover or mobility at your side.

So use a corner angle and constantly juggle between your left and right keys, and there you have it. Now you know how to perform perfect jiggle peeks to either bait the enemy’s shots or to just mess with them.

Bunny hopping:

Bunny hopping is a 20-year-old trick that is still relevant to this day and is used in all of the competitive shooters. It basically allows the players to get more speed and momentum while jumping around, which makes them harder to shoot. It is a faster way to move around the map while making yourself harder to hit. Now, keep in mind that bunny hopping is a hard skill to learn, and it takes loads of time and intentional effort to perform it flawlessly.

So here’s how someone would be able to do it. You have to nail two things first is your timings of the jump and second is your air strafing. That’s it, you combine both of them good enough and you’ll be able to perform some good bunny hops in no time. Firstly you have to jump and as you press jump you have to strafe left or right (it doesn’t matter) while also moving your mouse to that direction upon landing you have to quickly jump again and do it to the opposite side strafe and keep in mind that you have to let go of the W in this process.

So hit jump strafe right before even landing, press jump again, and strafe to the right, and that’s it. It is difficult to get the timings right for it because timing is essential in hitting bunny hops, but you will be able to hit them consistently if you practice them. A quick tip would be to bind jump on your mouse wheel because it will make it easier for you to spam the jump button, which is what you have to do if you wanna perform bunnyhops swiftly.
